Ever wonder why you can’t get to sleep?  Most of us suffer with some form of insomnia from time to time, and may find that you need some help getting that “Sleepy” feeling. There are many NATURAL things you can consider trying… such as, a warm glass of milk,  eat some turkey,  drink a relaxing tea, like chamomile or Valerian root (also comes dried, ground, in pill form).  Many things can get you on the naturally ‘restful’ road, the thing to remember, is if you are having trouble sleeping more than one night, there are underlying causes that must be dealt with to improve your sleep/relaxing ability.  During sleep, is the only time your body can heal. Keep this in mind as you deny there is anything wrong, other than you can not sleep. Bodies are remarkable, and capable of reaching well beyond our expectations, provided with the needs required to accomplish such feats. Positive steps to reach restful sleep:
	Be sure you are physically tired… most of us are mentally exhausted, but have not done any physical exertion. This can lead to fatigue if you are not resting properly. If you are mentally tired, you may need to exercise or use another form of activity to tire out your physical body. Finding your balance for mental work, stress & adding enough physical activity to increase your sleep ability, is the best way to insure a good nights sleep. Trial & error baby!  The only way to get the mix right for you.
Sleep aids/meds, as with weight loss products, interfere & do not help you heal.
Quality sleep comes from a good daily balance of work & play.
Balance is the key to all body function. If there is high stress, there must be heavy exercise to counter the natural chemical releases and production in the brain, creating the perfect balance for ‘good body function’ that includes a good nights sleep.
